Part-Time Narrator

We are seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Part-Time Narrator to join our team aboard the SEA PRINCESS in Northeast Harbor, Maine, and LULU LOBSTERBOAT RIDE in Bar Harbor, Maine. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, sharing stories, and spending time on the water.

About the Role

As a Narrator, you will guide guests through memorable on-the-water experiences, offering insights into local history, marine wildlife, and Maine’s lobster industry. If you’re friendly, confident speaking to groups, and enjoy creating positive guest experiences, we’d love to meet you. Training is provided for the right candidate.

What You Will Do

• Deliver engaging and informative narration during boat tours

• Share stories about local history, wildlife, and the lobster industry

• Communicate clearly and confidently with guests of all ages

• Work closely with the boat captain to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience

• Support a welcoming and positive atmosphere on board

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication and public speaking skills

• Comfortable interacting with groups and answering guest questions

• Enjoys being on the water and working outdoors

• Positive attitude and friendly, professional demeanor

• Ability to pass a drug test

Nice to Have

• Previous narration or tour guide experience

• Knowledge of marine wildlife, local history, or the lobster industry

• Experience working in guest-facing or hospitality roles
